Can people without airplane tickets go to taxi area?

Featured Replies

Some family is coming tomorrow and I need to meet them somewhere at the airport. We're taking a taxi from there so it makes sense to meet at the taxi booth. Is anybody allowed to go to that area, even if you don't have an airplane ticket? Thanks

Absolutely no problem, but it may be better to meet them at the well marked Meeting Point on the arrivals level.

The Meeting Point sounds perfect. Thanks!

Are they arriving internationally?

Tell them to walk until they see exit 4 (!) and before reaching the exit leave to the right where you can hardly miss them.

Exit 4 is not that crowded as exit 3/meeting point.

Picture, passengers arriving will walk in from the left.

Yes you can.

The arrival area has lifts/elevators down to level  1 where there is a taxi queue.

That is the area where the airport train also can be found.

The lifts are outside the security areas for arrival or departures.

So it can be done.

as i need a wheelchair I know you can tke the lifts down to the taxi queue or train level with no airline ticket needed

and don't make and take a big sign for to hold up, so they can see you...

 - you'll be 'done' for looking like an illegal taximan
