Reliable car and driver in Bangkok?

Hi folks

I am travelling in Bangkok (5th time) with a couple of people and I am wondering if anyone knows of a good reliable car and driver? I prefer a privately owned car than paying a limo service.

I want to go to a few places including a restaurant a bit out of the city, so it would be great to have a service who will take us there, wait and then take us home. I would also like to arrange airport transfers and we are changing hotels a coupe of times, so it would be cool to give some decent person the business.

I really don't like taxis, especially when they know you are stuck out the middle of nowhere at night.

Without wanting to sounding like a dick, I can afford to pay someone to wait while we have dinner, one of the people i'm with is a very nervous traveller so making them feel comfortable is worth the baht.

I found a great driver in Phuket and would like to find similar for BKK.

Contact details appreciated

Thanks in advance

Simon

Though it is a limo service and has a goofy name, I have always had great service with "Thai Happy Taxi" (www.thaihappytaxi.com) Vehicles always clean and new, drivers polite and helpful and equipped with GPS. Reasonable rates

I've used them about 5 times when various family visited Bangkok...never disappointed.

You can easily find good and reliable drivers on Uber, based on their user reviews. Try a short ride with the driver first and if you are satisfied I'm sure they will be happy to negotiate to be your private driver for a few days.
