What areas to avoid due to recent events, what area is the hospital located?

One assumes the traffic and hold ups will be worse than normal??

The hospital is in the North Western part of Bangkok. Roads around the hospital will remain closed until this afternoon.

BTS and MRT are operating normally and my journey to work was easier this morning as traffic was reduced (nowhere near the hospital which will likely be chaos).

Bangkok traffic on Friday :

The Metropolitan Police Bureau announced the closure of some roads, mostly in Thon Buri, as of 10 am Friday to facilitate the removal of HM the King’s body in a Royal procession from Siriraj hospital to the Dusit Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.

The procession will move out of Siriraj hospital into Arun-amarin road, crossing the Pinklao bridge, turning right in front of Rajdamnoen Nai and Na Phra Larn roads and then turning left into Maharaj road before entering the Grand Palace through the Thevaphirom gate.

Additional info:

Other reports/newspapers now say that the procession will leave the hospital at one. (13.00)
