Sermsuk gets ‘Carbon Footprint’ certification

The Nation

Sermsuk, led by operations director Peerapong Krincha, and associate marketing director Prangnee Chaipidaj, recently received “Corporate Carbon Footprint” certification from General Surasak Kanjanakul, minister of natural resources and environment, in recognition for being a climate-neutral company.

Sermsuk says it has become a role model for other businesses thanks to its efforts to calculate, reduce and offset its greenhouse-gas emissions. The company can now label Crystal drinking water and est Cola with prestigious "Carbon Footprint" and "Carbon Footprint Reduction" labelling, as approved by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation and Thailand Environment Institute under the Federation of Thai Industries.
