I would question that too.

I like Marcos, the Muslim restaurants in Anusarn are OK, I like the simple Thai at Lemongrass and of course the pub grub at the Lion is alright.

 

Best value restaurants in Chiang Mai maybe.

There are nicer ones but the pricing is usually as pretentious as the food.
