Thanks to Comey, Wall Street feels much more confident that their multi-million $$$ investment will yield many happy returns

Better than crashing the economy of USA and consequently the global economy which is the wild Mad Max purpose of many Trump supporters.

A certain number of Trump supporters want to burn it all down to start again as if the present were 1776.

You're right.  Trump fans, in their mist of self-inflicted anger and self-imposed ignorance, cheer when Trump says he'll abolish the Dept. of Education, the IRS, most regulations (across the board) and gut EPA (including dismissing climate-related crises as hoaxes).  He would also drastically lessen taxes on the super-rich, thereby putting added tax burdens on the middle class.  It's already happening for Trump personally.  While avoiding taxes, Trump concurrently takes advantage of taxpayer-paid items/services each day:  roads, bridges, schools, airports, emergency services, and myriad other services.  If you're an American who has paid any taxes in the past 40 years, you're paying a portion of Donald's taxes which he craftily avoids.

one more item I want to add:

At a recent stump speech in Florida, Ms soon-to-be President-Elect Clinton devoted the entire speech to the importance of climate change.  The guest speaker was Nobel Prize winner Al Gore.  My respect for HRC went up several notches when I heard her impassioned plea.  Not least, hundreds of thousands of good-paying non-outsourced jobs will be created as the US moves forward with alternative energy solutions.

Here we go again.

And he was your hero a few days ago.

:sleepy:

If you are referring to Comey, how could you be so wrong? I never trusted him since he didn't refer her to a grand jury, and I didn't change my mind about HIM. I was pretty happy that he had probably been forced to reopen the investigation, but that is as far as it went.

As long as the FBI doesn't investigate and find malfeasance, then I doubt anyone cares. I am pretty sure the genie has been securely put back in the bottle for now. On the other hand, since Wiki, the FBI, the Russians and god knows who else seems to have access to Clinton's info, I guess the future could be considered "uncertain" on that front. Needless to say, if anyone truly does have the "smoking gun", they are saving it until she is in the White House and can do them some good.

Ahh..the good old days.

"He can't release anything yet, and probably not before November 8th. There is no way the investigation can verify "thousands" of e mails in 9 days, and even if he could, it will be too late by then to convince undecided voters to support her.

Oh, this is just too good. When I heard this last night I wondered if I was dreaming.

I don't know what is there, but for sure I'd love to be in the room where the Clinton team will be stressing about this real "October surprise".

BTW, try blaming this on the Russians 555555555555555."

You have a gift for getting things wrong.

Absolutely the whole rotten system need to be taken down. Just look at our world and try to prove it isn't insane.

The children of the future will curse us for what we do now.

I actually have no hope that Trump will be able to change anything if he is elected ( the system will stop him ), but at least it's worth trying to elect a change maker. If she is elected, absolutely nothing will change for the better- just more of the same.

what exactly is Trump going to change? I mean apart from drastically lowering taxes for the rich and deregulating hedge funds?

And for the 'c' classification, you have long experience in receiving classified US intelligence by email do you? If not, then your comments on what Hillary Clinton knew and didn't know can only be derived from other sources. Sources with an agenda.

Hillary declared  she had long experience in handling classified documents, but thought a "C" meant a follow on from a non existent A B.

You place some meaning in the small number of posts and by inference we are to attribute more credibility to you because you have more posts?

Total misinterpretation. I referred to your small number of posts as a reason why you will have missed points already laboured continually as if yours are original. Nothing to do with the more posts the more credibility one has. You waste a lot of time writing long winded nonsense.

You feel obliged to comment on my writing style. This on top of your close tracking of my post count merely reinforces your stalking. For some reason, liberal points of view get your goat or sheep as the case may be. You constantly attack Publicus for his writing style as well.

Your presumption to declare issues closed to discussion is as misguided as your selfish and self serving politics. It is not up to you to declare issues 'labored'. If you do not wish to comment or respond, please feel free to keep your trap shut and occupy yourself by stalking some other poster.

Your comments on Hillary Clinton are also presumptuous, even if you were a US citizen.  Actions by State officials are determined by law in a way that is quite different to countries that do not follow the US legal system. You believe that the mere statement of your view is sufficient to condemn a former Senator and Secretary of State. It does not and no amount of links to the Alt Right.

Again, I have no problem talking about myself. You may continue to do this to avoid dealing with reality. Perhaps the results of today's vote will keep your head pulled in for a while and give we victims of your stalking some respite.

Odd. I can post nothing without your stalking me it seems. Answering your points is not close tracking, it's commenting and responding, but telling me it's not up to me to declare issues laboured if I believe it so, is against the freedom of opinion which is allowable on TVF. It's not up to you to dictate what my opinion should look like.

Marxist/Socialist believers typically morph into intolerance, arrogance and dictatorial tendencies by reason of their belief in the "rightness" and excesses of their own philosophy. Anyone with a different point of view are lesser mortals to be put down at will because they feel they are above being challenged.

Also they take themselves far too seriously and as far as you go if I am critical of Hillary, I am not being critical of your mother, (unless she is) so why all the rage?

Strange also that you accuse me of stalking you as a victim, then invite me to continue all in the same paragraph. You seem  bit confused. The election is more stressful for you than me. I'm sure Hillary will win so you will feel better soon.

Tawan Dok Krating Daeng is a Marxist/Socialist. I didn't see where Tawan Dok Krating Daeng advocated workers control of the means of production and the abolition of capitalism. I must have missed something. I'm sure you wouldn't just be engaged in reflexive name calling because somebody disagrees with you.

That wasn't quite a dog whistle as it's rather heavy handed so it ends up getting the attention of another.

Some conservatives attack liberal progressives for their supposed relativism, contradictions, lecturing and scolding arrogance. Other conservatives attack liberals as closed minded, fixed and unchanging in our views, condescending when we tell a redneck he is a racist, that we support dictatorship because we're not armed to the teeth against the evil government in Washington, and more...much more.

The issue at this thread is that if Democrats regain the majority control of the Senate in this election, which is likely to occur, James Comey is going to be spending a lot of time in the hotseat over there.

Comey's Coup. A coup attempt under the color of law.

It gets tedious when posters can't stay on topic.   This thread is about the re-opening of the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton.   IT IS NOT ABOUT DONALD TRUMP.

Stay on topic, please

I'll take that bet.  I would have taken that same bet two months ago, when the polls had her up 12 points.  I promised everyone on this forum, then, I would leave this site for "life."  I guess I'll still be around.  Good day.
