While Bangkok is not short of shopping and dining malls and plazas, midtown (i.e Ekkamai/Phra Khanong/On Nut) has missed out, unless you count Gateway which has limited shops and just another Maxvalu for food. The condo development has, however, been unrelenting.

So welcome Summer Hill Plaza. A "Boutique" development with shops, restaurants and much more, right by Phra Khanong BTS and due for completion in 2017, assuming the cranes remain upright.
