Before the start of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Lima, Peru, Deputy Prime Minister ACM Prajin Juntong held a meeting with Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter O’Neill to discuss bilateral relations, which formally began in 1976, and to pledge ongoing and closer cooperation. ACM Prajin also offered his best wishes for Papua New Guinea’s upcoming hosting of the APEC Forum in 2018, saying that Thailand is ready to share its experience as a previous host. He offered any support that may be needed as well as other assistance the country may request. Later, the DPM met with the U.S. APEC business alliance, which included executives from 20 leading U.S. companies. outsider Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 I was about to comment that for once, the these 'news' articles managed to resist the temptation to attribute some positive quotes to 'someone' no matter how much of a BS or untrue it is... then came Nation's piece... "AN AMERICAN business coalition expressed its confidence in Thailand’s economic potential and promised to continue investments in the country..." and "Leaders from the business group told Prajin that they viewed Thailand as an important hub..." Even if the 'American business coalition' or one of the 'leaders from the business group' did say something to that effect, have a damned quote to make the claim credible. And quote someone credible from the other party. No use quoting your own people and their hot air. Sheesh... which journalism school did these 'journalists' go to? I just finished reading that in the upcoming election if your found guilty (subjective?) of buying votes you could be executed kaput goodbye. We all know whose rules these are and possibly they will be selectively applied. If your not part of the selective herd you could be unceremoniously terminated. OK you young budding wanna be politicians you have be forewarned. Politics is only good for your health if your on the right side but who determines that pray tell?? Certainly not the voters.
