Yes, I'd second the suggestion to go to Seacon Square. There are actually three seperate airsoft shops on the third floor, in the area under the cinema. I brought a Marui GBB G17 from one of those shops around 8 years ago and the shop is still there so they must be doing something right. Most of the guns are Chinese brands such as CYMA but the shops should be able to order whatever brand you want.
If you're just getting into Airsoft and unsure whether you'll like it, you can also buy from groups on Facebook. People just list whatever they want to sell. It's hard to sell a used gun so the prices are pretty good. Bit more hassle than buying from a shop though.

Okay, I gotta ask.  What happens on an Airsoft Field?  Is it like a paintball field where you shoot at each other?

I have an airsoft pistol I bought in Chinatown and I just use it for 10M target shooting in my apartment.  I'm afraid I'll get on the front page with someone pointing at me if i take it out.  Only good thing is that my face would be blurred nowadays...

There's a decent shop in the basement at Fortune Town (MRT Phra Ram 9) and several in an alley in Chinatown at 13 44 37.08 N x 100 30 24.39 E.

The best place in BKK was torn down (Saphan Lek Market), but some of those shops have scattered to various nooks and crannies in Chinatown.  They're not as concentrated as they used to be, so you need to scrounge around the alleys near Khlong Thom Market.  It's worth a day of scrounging for lots of goodies you can't find elsewhere.

There used to be a couple of kiosks on that alley with tryout targets where you could shoot the airsoft guns before you bought them.  It was fun just to watch.  Unfortunately, they were in the middle of the alley and those vendors were pushed out a year or so ago when they cleaned up the area.  (They also sold illegal pellet rifles and that may be part of why they're not around, though there's still one or 2 guys selling them, but not as in-your-face as before)

I don't know the brand names so I can't offer advice.  I paid about 1500 baht for mine and I'm happy with it for the balance, feel and performance.  Keep in mind it shoots plastic beads and isn't a precision firearm.  Still fun in the apartment, though.

For 500 baht, I suspect it's spend your money and take your chances.
