Dec 5th, any word or guidance issued?

Featured Replies

I've got some friends coming into BKK and I mentioned to them that perhaps the 5th things might be quiet.

Has there been any word from on high as to closings of any particular types of venues or any word on bans?

Ping, any word now that we're closer to the 5th and the long holiday weekend has started?

Nothing official i have heard, but i am sure some places will use discretion. It is easier for some places to shutter up early or tone it down for an evening or two than run the risk of encountering problems.

Even from the date of the King's passing most venues have been open as normal, but perhaps shut a little early or dampen the decibel level. Many of the usual suspects have pretty much been running as normal throughout.
