CHUMPON: -- A woman found floating in the sea off the coast in Chumpon could be one of three missing people after a boat capsized near Koh Tao.

The boat was carrying wood from a rubber plantation and capsized several days ago. Missing were a family of three from Myanmar - a mother, father and daughter.

The woman found yesterday in the Lamae district of the southern province was clothed and had a life jacket on that was inside out, reports Sanook.

She was found 100 meters from shore and was dragged in by fishing trawler before being taken for autopsy.

The victim was 25-30 years old and had been dead about five days.

Police have contacted counterparts in Koh Tao to contact relatives so that an identification can be made. But the Lamae force suspect she is the daughter of the missing family.
