Trump Begins Intelligence Briefings Ahead of Return to White House
I understand that, to emphasis the secrecy of the information the briefings were presented on pieces of paper that Mr Trump had to eat afterwards. He quite liked that bit, they used McDonald's wrappings! -

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
There is another thread on hear about emails from K-Bank asking customers to supply TIN's etc. As an LTR Visa holder (and with some accounts outside of Thailand here is my response). May be of interest to some. "I got a letter from HSBC Australia last week, where I have a very small sum of money, to self certify my Thai Tax residency and TIN. So not just Thai Banks caught up in this. I was in Malaysia last week to open a new account with Maybank and also had to self certify - Identical form apart from Bank Logo. I am a K Bank customer but no email (yet)! The HSBC - Maybank Self Certification gives three choices re TIN (A), (B) and (C) - from memory (A) is the Thai TIN (13 Digits), (B) is TIN cannot be obtained and (C) is Country does not issues TIN's or equivalent. I ticked (B) in my case as I have no assessable income in Thailand and I have an LTR Visa which I stated via Royal Decree 743 means I don't pay tax on remitted income and am not entitled to a TIN (that's what the RD on Pahonyonthin Road told me). Anyway both Banks accepted this - but I'd really like to put this on the record with my Thai accounts!!!" -

Love or Lust? What Are Foreigners Looking for in Thailand’s Nightlife?
Out of curiosity and having some spare time to kill, I took my girlfriend on my PCX down soi 6 around 8pm the other night. The soi was jammed packed with girls lined up in the middle of the road, I was the only vehicle at the time (that I could see), took forever to travel the soi. My girlfriend hadn't seen soi 6 before, she was shocked, I'm so sorry I did this to her. Anyway back on topic......there were lots of future wives for foreigners. -

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?

I am not an expert on the United States Constitution (that bit appears to be missing from my copy of the bible - I blame those bloody Chinese printers); but there again actually I am not convinced that many others posting here are, including some of the most enthusiastic supporters of Mr Trump! However, it is my understanding that matters of funding, staffing and management of Federal Agencies, including the creation of new government departments, are firmly in the hands of Congress, which rather reduces the status of Messrs Musk and Ramaswamy to the status of lobbyists! -
