Former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit celebrates his freedom with open arms as he is released from jail yesterday under an amnesty granted to mark His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s accession to the throne.

 

OUTSPOKEN former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit was freed from prison yesterday after being among the first batch of 30,000 inmates released under an amnesty granted to mark HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s accession to the throne.

 

“I am grateful for His Majesty’s kindness,” Chuwit said. “Long Live the King.”

 

The former convict also pledged to be a good citizen from now on.
