Hi I am seeking some further information regarding my retirement extension which for the past few years I have renewed at Chiang Mai Immigration and met the financial requirement by keeping the 800,000 baht in a bank account for three months.

Next year I want to use the option of obtaining a certified pension declaration from the Australian Consul who visit Chiang Mai regularly.

My pension is non government and in excess of the above annual amount which for convenience I elect to be paid  six monthly in advance to my Thai bank account via my Australian bank account.

By me receiving it with the above frequency will this create a problem or can I just state on the declaration the annual amount.

You can divide your total annual income by 12 to get a monthly income to put on the statutory declaration to prove a minimum of 65k baht income.

ubonjoe is correct. They want to see a monthly amount so divide your yearly income by 12.
