I would suggest you get your quote based on as door to door price

Which means the goods are collected, customs cleared at both ends and delivered to your door

I would also try and complete a Spanish customs declaration  before sending, maybe print one off

Also, if this shipment is household effects, you state 'USED' and over a certain age normally 2 years in the UK

I do not know if duties are payable on household shipments, if they are its a customs tariff charge, plus VAT including transport costs

Try and get 3 / 4 quotes, cheapest being sea freight ( LCL means less than a container load), I wou transit time estimate 6 weeks

SCHENKER - Are a very large international freight forwarding company, they have offices in Hong Dong

Be advised that Spain has a very strict policy of charging and collecting import duty on items imported into Spain. I lived there and made the huge mistake of insuring all the boxes of goods I sent to myself. A 3rd party company opened everything, inventoried it, and assessed an import duty on the amounts that they calculated. They also charged me for their time!  It was a LOT of money. I was shocked. I didn't know. I had to pay or they were going to sell my stuff.
