Filipino restaurant

Featured Replies

We finally moved here, and I would like to know if there is still a Filipino restaurant here in CM ? Awhile back I seen a post on one near the moat on some little Soi.. Don't know the name or if it's still around.. Please let me know, thanks

not aware of a jollibee here, all Starbucks, McDonalds, etc

I've never been aware of a Filipino restaurant in Chiang Mai, and would be very surprised if it survived if there were one.

Not really a sort after cuisine in most parts of the world.....apart from The Philippines that is.

I'd be intrigued to learn if there is such a beastie here. The Filipino lechon barboy  (Bbq rotisserie pork) is/was very good and one dish I do miss.

There was a Fillpino restaraunt on a soi between The canal road and Nimman.

If you know the old location for Kasem, then looking at Kasem it was up the first soi to the left say 500mtrs up.

Haven't noticed it for some time as I rarely use the soi.

Do a search on the facebook C.M. food groups. There was a discussion just about two weeks ago about it that I recall seeing (not a fan myself). The place that was on Nimmanhaemann closed a few years ago but apparently there is another large, very busy Filipino restaurant in C.M. There would have to be in order to accommodate the very large Filipino community here.
