Pinned List of Doctors in Chiang Mai - Updates.

Featured Replies

We're getting ready to apply updates to the pinned list of doctors and medical specialists in Chiang Mai (below), if you have any additions you want to see made or if you've spotted something that's not quite right, please let me know via this thread and I'll see relevant changes get made. Please remember that recommendations for the inclusion of new names in the list generally require the support of more than one member. And whilst we are happy to remove names from the list for valid reasons, please be aware of Thailand's strict libel laws when posting on this aspect. Many thanks in advance.

1. Dr.  Rak Tananuvat, the ENT and surgeon (as per the discussion the other day).

2. Dr. Sompong Trungtawatchai  no longer practices at Sriphat; only C.M. Bangkok Hospital now.

Done, thanks.

And I also have Dr's Siri and Sudhee as retired.

Isn't Dr. Siri still in practice? I think my wife saw him only a month or two ago. To the best of my knowledge he is still at his clinic in the evenings and can be seen at Suan Dok (although it is very difficult). I think he decided to spend more time on the academic side and promoting his mail-order business, and less time on surgical procedures.

In which case I'll leave him on the list. The last I heard was that he had left his offices on the Moat near Walking Street and was understood to have retired, apparently not.

Bump - any more changes, last chance?

Has a pulmonologist been identified? Considering air quality during the burning season(s), I'd vote for having one on the list.

We haven't seen any recommendations for one yet.
