Pattaya municipality may be sued over death of Italian hit by falling branch

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya police said Monday that the local authority may be sued for damages in the death of the 91 year old Italian man hit by a falling branch when out for a stroll on Sunday.

New order imposed to prevent Phu Lomlo from being over-developed

PHITSANULOK: -- Officials at Phu Hin Rongkhla National Park has imposed a new order on Phu Lomlo mountain in Phitsanulok province to prevent the expansion of resorts or homestays in a way which will threaten the wild Himalayan cherry (prunus cerasoides) trees.

HIV Positive Czech Fugitive Deported from Thailand to Czech Republic

 

BANGKOK – Pol Lt-General Nattorn Prohsunthorn, the chief of the Thailand’s Immigration Bureau, said Monday that suspected Czech fugitive will be deported back to his home country where he is wanted for allegedly committing sexual crimes with children.

PHUKET: -- Two Thai women were injured on Friday (Jan 20) when a branch from a pine tree fell on them as they relaxed at Nai Yang Beach on Phuket’s west coast.
