In my old country your insurance is void if you are dui and you end up with a criminal charge of no insurance.

One of the Khaosod English articles on her mentioned that there is absolutely no connection between the licensing "system" and the traffic violations "system."

My take on it:  A "developing country" means that there are still a lot of "undeveloped" things.  Certainly, here's one of them.

 

So, Public:   Violate laws and wreak carnage at will on the nation's highways. In the process, you may get your license confiscated by the arresting cops.  Don't worry/be happy.  You can go right out and get another driving license.  Only you know your vile past--well, and the social media if you spill it.   Seems like she's really taunting the broken system.

The comment in question could also be classified as a puerile, witless poke at the authorities that prosecuted in both cases, with one guilty verdict so far, another to come but don't let my comment get to you, it wasn't directed at you in the first place.
