Abhisit

BANGKOK: -- DEMOCRAT PARTY leader Abhisit Vejjajiva plans to discuss the current political conflict and conflict resolution through peaceful means when his party meets the reconciliation preparation committee tomorrow.

The Democrat is among 70 parties that have been invited before the committee to share views and resolutions on 10 previously established critical issues to pave the way for future reconciliation.

The hearing of politicians’ opinions is scheduled to be wrapped up by April before being handed to the umbrella committee for reform, reconciliation, and national strategy, or Por Yor Por, for consideration.

Ten representatives of the Democrat Party have been selected to present the views of the party on the pre-set topics. Abhisit’s deputy leader, Nipit Intarasombat, was assigned to take care of the reconciliation issue, while the party’s chief lawyer was assigned to talk about the rule of law and justice system.

Just see him as totally out of touch with the average Thai.  From a few conversations with people from the north and the east, he is not liked at all.  Very much a Bangkok fop.

Consideration has a nice ring to it.

You hit the nail on the head. The sentence 70 other political parties thrown in for good measure and a attempt at diversity. This boils down to the puppet and the puppeteer plain and simple

Must be the Thai equivalent of the "Deep State"

But he might be more acceptable now that he has not got Suthep telling him what to do.

When he's done with this, he should be sent to the UN to negotiate peace in the middle east. :coffee1:

Oh don't worry, as soon as he is installed as Prime Minister Suthep will pop up again!
