DSI resumes search-and-arrest operation at Dhammakaya temple for the second day

This reminds me of Life of Brian, where John Cleese playing the centurion raids the Peoples Front of Judiah saying "Where's Brian of Nazareth" and one of his soldiers comes up and says "I found this spoon sir"

There is a reason for the BiB to exist

... if only to replace my Chalerm addiction.

Thank you the BiB for your uniqueness!

I like the look on the Signer in the bottom right, he's like <deleted>?

Or maybe someone told them that it were pillows, and they didn't bother to look under the blanket

does anyone know what that blue chamber is?

Looks like one of those 1950's iron lung machines used for polio victims.   Maybe just a prop to impress the BIB as to how sick he was.

Certainly more impressive than the pillows.

MERCY!  A religion dabbling in deceit?   Who'd a thunk it?

How many billions of baht a year in donations does Dhammakaya adherents trust it with?

If the hyperbaric chamber is under pressure, even by a few inches, they'll never work out how to open the door! :)

A 1.5 kilometer tunnel has been found under the UFO temple.

Can't make this stuff up.

In one story, Thai genius and Thai incompetence meet head on.

It shows you the power of being a slightly smart monkey. 1 vs 3500+, against all odds, and that 1, even while ill, is running circles around them.

The old men in charge with bad hair dye and swollen faces must be besides themselves with face loss.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm rooting for the monk.

Why is he not pointing?

I'm a little disappointed.

Why not evict everyone from the temple. close it down, and only re-open it once the rogue monk is found . Maybe then some of the monks/disciples will open up and say where he is.

The Dear Abbot has watched The Great Escape!   He's already on the back of Steve McQueen's motorbike somewhere in the mountains of Phetchabun.

I  can find   nothing  amusing  about this situation.  The  individual  sought is  no more or less than the  evangelical scammers elsewhere  and  needs  to  be  revealed or  what he  really is.

Unfortunately  any  outcome  will  never  recompense  the gullible  devotees and  nor in  natural  justice should  be  for  being  stupid. but those  coat tail  hangers  who  protect  him  should  suffer  consequence  more  than !

Here we go again, this c..p is better than any tv soap opera.

Even the best story writers could not come up with anything better than this.

The people at the temple are making absolute fools of the Thai authorities, and stupid buggers are to thick to see it.

Have you considered that the authorities might not actually want to catch him ?
