Insurance And Health Policy For Baby

Featured Replies

My Thai wife is keen on starting a 10 year insurance and health coverage package for our 7 month old baby with Thai Life Co. I would appreciate it if anyone has any experience of this company giving an opinion on it. Also how popular are these long term policies here in Thailand?

You are not talking about life insurance are you? If you are talking about health insurance, that should be pretty straightforward. Costs us 10,000 per year to add our 3 mo old son onto my wife's work health insurance policy.

Kids don't need life insurance, imo.

READ THE SMALL PRINT!!!!!!

You will probably find that it's an endowment policy, which I think they scrapped in the UK because too many people lost their money!!!!!

I have a 4 month old daughter and we got her health and accident insurance through AIA for about 10000 baht a year, if you look at the payments on the policy they will be VERY high!!!! Ask for a rider and policy details in English.
