We recently were giving some cuttings and they started to grow nicely but we do not know the name.

Searched all over the net but no luck.

Very distinctive feature is the leaves taste like licorice ,they really do!

The people we got the cuttings from also have no idea what it is,we would like to find out so we know what we have.

I hope the picture will help somewhat.

I hate to contradict your woman, but that doesn't look like horapha. 

This is a photo of Thai basil. 

You'll notice the difference between the leaves.

We have lots of Thai  basil and i can tell you this is something different.

Just keep it up and hopefully we will find out the name.
