BUPA (Thai) Renewal UP 10%

Featured Replies

Just had my renewal notice through from BUPA (Thailand) and it appears to be up by around 10-12%.

This is softened a little by a 10% return on previous years payments if "no claims" paid after 6 months into the new policy year.

I am on the Platinum 2 plan, renewal is 5,648 baht monthly.

Anyone else had a price increase ?  (yes I know it increases with age band)

I am in great health age 62 and mine went up 10%.  I never have made a claim.  I asked and they said the hospital charges have gone way up.

I am at 82,000 for the Platinum.

Anyone have a better rate for coverage?  Axa was much more.

You will be told that you won't be disallowed insurance cover after a certain age. This is what it looks like.

My insurance (not BUPA) will be going up 20% next year and I won't be paying it. At least they warned me in advance
