Shaun ditched for hooker

THE wife of love rat Shaun Goodeve has branded him “a heartless creep” after he ditched her and their children for a go-go-dancing Thai prostitute.

Mum-of-three Lynne Goodeve had thought her husband was working on an oil pipeline in the Malaysian jungle.

In fact — as The Sun revealed last week — he had set up home with bar girl Yadawade Pilaiwan after meeting her on a lads’ trip to Thailand.

Last night Lynne said: “My solicitors are tracking Shaun for divorce purposes. I want him out of my life for good as soon as possible.

“To leave his family without a backward glance, or even a note, has broken the children’s hearts. And I don’t think I will ever recover.

“How can you ever begin to trust anyone again when the man you have spent your life with just vanishes, leaving you to worry he’s been murdered?”

Lynne, 39, told how debt-plagued Shaun had hoodwinked her and children Neil, 16, Stacey, 14, and 11-year-old Kimberley into believing his bosses had offered him a three-week contract in Malaysia worth thousands.

In October last year he said goodbye to his family, telling them he was flying to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

In fact, he went to Thailand with some mates from his local snooker club.

Lynne, a hospital cleaner from Stamshaw, Hants, said: “Over the following three weeks Shaun called me on his mobile every day.

“He told me that the work was tough but he was doing it for me and the kids because he loved us.

“When he returned I was over the moon to see him. I’d missed him so much and he said he was glad to be home.

“But just two weeks after he got back, Shaun announced he would have to return to Malaysia for another three weeks because there were problems with the oil pipes in the jungle.

“Before he left he splashed out on Christmas presents for the children — with my money.

“I didn’t mind because I knew Shaun would soon bring home the fat pay cheque he kept talking about.

“When he returned again, he said he was due to be paid £12,000 for his work.”

But after six weeks and still no pay cheque, 39-year-old crane technician Shaun announced he would have to return to Malaysia to force contractors Shell Oil to pay up.

Lynne said: “The whole family helped pool resources to pay for his next flight.

“Our eldest son Neil even sold his prized moped so he could lend his dad £400 for the trip.”

But six days after Shaun left Britain in February this year, worried Lynne had not heard from him and reported him as missing to the local police.

It was then she discovered from airline Cathay Pacific that he had flown to the Thai capital Bangkok instead of Malaysia.

A check with Shaun’s employers revealed he had never been sent to Malaysia.

In fact, he had resigned last November, saying he was emigrating to Australia.

Lynne said: “That night I sobbed uncontrollably on the telephone to my friends.

“One close friend remained quiet. After I had poured my heart out she just said, ‘Lynne, you had better go down to the snooker hall.’ She wouldn’t say anything more.”

At the hall, Shaun’s pals broke it to her that he had cheated on her with hooker Yadawade.

Lynne also discovered Shaun is now running two sleazy bars in Pattaya, a notorious haunt for Western sex tourists.
