Red Bull heir seen living carefree life

There is the case of ex-supermodel Yuyee serving a 15 year prison sentence for bringing into the country a teaspoon full of cocaine, who`s health is deteriorating fast but will not be released on health grounds, and then we have this jerkoff Vorayuth who has killed someone, enjoying the finest life can offer and probably won`t serve even a day in prison and allowed to keep his fortune,, plus providing he keeps his money he will be welcome anywhere and everywhere with no questions asked. What a crock of s**t.

Did you read the article? It said that social media groups that follow him has hundreds of thousands of followers. Meaning thai people are interested. This is why we heard about it now.

The article actually says....

Quote

Friends and cousins posting about him have hundreds of thousands of online followers.

And that information was brought to us by foreign media.

Family of policeman accepted the $100,000 blood money so they are partly to blame for the lack of justice in this case IMHO.

What realistic alternatives did they have? They are not Hi-So.

Section 44 required here; this is a true measure of how serious the Government is about stamping out corruption.

This is corruption in it's most basic form and one that should be made an example of.

Arrest him and put him jail; like most other cases that go before a military court no need for a court to decide.

Just proof how corrupt the U.K. Is allowing him in! Try to bring your Thai spouse, hell no!

Same go's for Australia, several thousand dollars and if/when we say no chance sunshine and no refunds, what a pack of thieving Ba****ds, but if you and your daddy's got plenty of cash well suspected murderers are just fine...

Only one way to make that change, do some thing about it instead of pissing and moaning about it.

Thai Justice; Police Intelligence; two of the most common examples of oxymoron round here.  A boycott of all Red Bull products/events might force the family to turn him in.  It is rumored that he has been back in Thailand a number of times.

The real shame, profound shame, the absolute abject shame is on the  Royal Thai police and the Thai criminal justice system.

They have shown themselves for what they are: venal, self serving unto a man, without so much as a hint of a sense of duty.

Even when one of their own rank was taken down by this guy, they could not close ranks and do the right thing.

Every thinking person in Thailand, and there maybe are a few, has seen this shameful display of a dual justice system, one for the rich and one for the poor, displayed to all the world in the cold light of day.

Justice for sale. How can anyone respect that system?

Shame be upon them!!!

Are we right to put the blame on this piece of human garbage? History shows us that if you place a person above the law they will become lawless, will Thailand ever find a leader who rules for others not there selves,  we are living in a country where a few rich elite trample over the rights of the others to live a decent life, concerned only with the size of their bank balances so they can maintain there perverse pleasures. Someone once said that in the end the people always win  through.....I think sadly not in Thailand. The peoples only hope is the social media platform. To compare corruption here to the UK/USA and other western countries is naive. Thailand this beautiful but sick sick country is imploding on itself.

More likely to be hiding in plain sight.  No need to worry about extradition treaties, since he is not wanted for any crime in Thailand.

Last I read, even though the wife/brother of the deceased has accepted a 3 million baht compensation and dropped charges the police have still charged him with reckless driving and homicide and a warrant is out but how seriously that warrant is pursued is another thing.

It is embarrassing. A massive face loss for Thailand and its legal system.

And anyone attempting to interrupt his carefree lifestyle with something as unimportant as an arrest for manslaughter or dangerous use etc could be signing his own death warrant career wise or in actuality.  Do not expect to see him arrested or extradited any time soon.  Such is the power of money in this country.  Unfortunately.

Can't blame other countries to let him in. He doesn't have some interpol red notice on his passport which flags him at every immigration counter.

Which begs the question, why he has a passport at all?I am being retorical,as we all know the answer to that.

The speeding charge expired after a year. The more serious charge of hit-and-run, which police say carries a penalty of up to six months in jail, expires in September.

Complicating matters, Yoovidhya's attorney has repeatedly filed petitions claiming unfair treatment in the investigation.

Police say it's up to prosecutors to charge him. Prosecutors say extra investigation is needed, but wouldn't specify.

Now 5 years later, I guess everything will be "expired"...and a criminal can continue to laugh at this justice parody ...

The family did not agree to no charges. They accepted a settlement in which they agreed to waive their right to commence a private prosecution of "Boss".

It seems that they were confident that the police/prosecutors would do their duty and place this man before the courts to answer for his crimes. Unfortunately, their confidence appears to have been misplaced.

A man has died. The person responsible appears to be getting away without any punishment at all. Insinuating that the family is to blame for no charges being laid is just shameful.

...and your not wanting to understanding that, so far, the family's decision is what is preventing charges other than motoring offences is even more shameful.

Unless Thai Government asked for Interpol's help, or revoked this scum's passport, he is free to go wherever he wants. It will be interesting to see what happens when his passport is due for renewal. If he gets it without trouble, it is safe to assume that he is travelling with the Government's blessing

The family's decision can not prevent the police/prosecutors from laying charges, provided there is sufficient evidence - but it can provide a means of diverting public attention from what is really going on.

But, in a way, you are correct. Yes the "family's" decision is what is preventing charges - just not the family of the dead police officer.

I'm sure he has an active blue notice to keep tabs on him though.

The Red Bull family is not preventing charges being made, that's why an acknowledgement of those charges is due tomorrow.

Absolute loss of face for Thailand especially the PM who so clearly stated he wants equal justice for all Thai citizens.

His passport should be cancelled and as his family are clearly financing him which is aiding and abetting a criminal the Thai government should seize all assets halt there trading ... I wonder if his family were to loose red bull and other companies would they soon turn him in

and it would get some of the money they won't get off Taksin

I seem to remember at the time of the policeman's death, the Thai police general put in charge of the investigation making a big song and dance about the fact that the dead man was a "Brother" that all police were "brothers" and that no amount of money or power would break these bonds, they would prosecute irregardless.

Don't seem to have hear much from him over the last five years

Don't indulge this member. Look at his comments on the BP and you'll see he does the same thing. He has the same username. Ignore his posts and comments. TV will be a much nicer experience from then on.

Excellent news, deserves world media attention to illustrate that those connected with Red Bull Racing, directly or indirectly are not only above local laws but morally killing innocent policeman they just take in their stride.  Good on yer. May poetic justice turn out right for you one day and sooner the better, worthless piece of hiso scum.

Well at least this murder carried out by this piece of human scum is now on BBC at least will be read by millions around the world to again display how money rules Thailand.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-39427291

Good to see how well it illustrates that the current government is still being paid off by the rich Elites in this country. Still Let's see what happens when all avenues of evasion are explored and once again, according to the Thai legal system,  he is able to walk the streets of Bangkok , for how long until he gets his comeuppance ?

Red Bull products should be boycotted world wide until justice is seen to be done.
