April 15, 20179 yr Had to return to Auckland urgently with Thai. The Purser came to me in departure lounge & started asking questions about my situation. I thought he was being nosey but turned out when he found that I had a 3 hour drive on arrival he made sure I got 3 seats so I could slumber. (& apologised that business was full) And yes 777 3-3-3 seat configuration. I fly Thai

Read here: http://www.thaiairways.com/en/exp_thai/Cabin_Class/special_meal_service.page This Halal stuff is a misinformed poster babbling on, one who does it often on a variety of topics.

You do realize that any plane flying out of BKK would most likely be taking on food from Thai airlines kitchen, as planes out of Australia take on Qantas food etc.
April 15, 20179 yr I always fly Thai TG's between Perth to Bangkok..., the so called 787 'Dreamliner'...., mainly because they are the only direct flight between Perth and Bangers....., I just won't do the 'budget airlines long layover' in KL or Singapore. Only 6 and 1/4 hours flying time, food tolerable, ok IFE, convenient flight times for me. I always pick my favourite seat and hope there are no kids, roudies or farters are in that area. Quite often I get a row to myself and have a lay down. Apart from that, I just have the usual complaints ..., although I fully realise many airlines have narrower seats - they could be wider(have broad shoulders) ..., and Thai could change movies more frequently. In the meanwhile when I check in, I'll just wear nice clothes, collect the points and hope I'll get bumped up to 1st class or some such. PS..., on the return flight to WA, there is no more beautiful sight in the world than looking out the window and seeing the sun rising over North Western Australia...., you little beauty bottler ! Read here: http://www.thaiairways.com/en/exp_thai/Cabin_Class/special_meal_service.page It wasn't me who said that Thai Airways only serve Halal food. Somebody else gave us the wrong information. Thanks for the link, at least they cater to all food diets unlike Airasia. I believe Airasia doesn't serve any pork at all. Edited April 16, 20179 yr by EricTh
April 16, 20179 yr I think Thai airways should cater to all groups and not insist on halal Muslim diet. Hmmm, this is your post Eric.

April 16, 20179 yr Got it Eric. You repeat what he said like it was yours but have no responsibility for it. It is like magic!

But in addition I have discovered that despite provided admission or aroma I can usually see right through them.
