Orthoptist In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi,

My eyesight is worsening because I use too much my computer.

To improve it again I would need to find an orthoptist, as usually after 5 or 6 sessions I'm back to normal.

Anyone knows where I can find one (even in Burumgrad they don't have this specialty, and I don't want another operation as they suggested) ?

Thxs

Orthoptists are frowned upon by the Thai ophthalmology community. Ophthalmologists don't receive training in that and don't trust the results. I know of an American trained Optometrist who might be able to help.

Try contacting:

Damrong Optical

13 Bamrungmuang Rd

Tel: +011-662-222-6309

or contact Dr. Danai at

The easiest way is probably to just take a 2 minute break every 20 minutes you use the computer. You could also get a low prescription +1.00 or so for using when on the computer. If you wear glasses maybe have some a weaker pair for computer use.

In fact had a disease which attacked my eyes muscles when I was a child.

I had operations, but I'm suppose to have 5 or 6 sessions with an orthoptist every 1 or 2 years, to counterbalance the everyday degradation.

Thank you for your answer
