A RESTAURANT owner accused of paying a gang to take part in the rape of a 14-year-old girl surrendered to police on Friday night after an arrest warrant was issued by Suphan Buri Court.

Anuchat Hongthong, a 53-year-old widower who is well known in Nong Ya Sai district, turned himself in at 10.30pm to face the charges of raping a minor under 15 and taking the girl away from her guardian/parent for lewd acts last November. Pol Col Mana Kleepsattabut, deputy superintendent at the Anti-Human Trafficking Division (AHTD), said Anuchat initially denied the charges and said he would testify only in court.

AHTD investigators will now take Anuchat to apply for the court to approve his first 12-day detention period pending police inquiries.

The investigation into the alleged gang rape of the girl in Suphan Buri’s Dan Chang district and putting pressure on her to do commercial sex work has progressed quickly after lawyer Songkran Atchariyasap, who chairs a network that targets threats to the nation, religion |and monarchy, helped the |victim’s family contact relevant officials.

The girl, who was hospitalised for three weeks after the incident and suffered both physical and emotional trauma, has been put under the care of a state-run shelter for rehabilitation.

Several others have been arrested over the incident, including Pramuan Khanchatha, 24, who is now on bail; Sunai Bunpaen, 22, and Thananwat Kamhaengk-humphon, 21, who were brought for a rape crime re-enactment at |an Internet cafe last week; Pramuan’s sister Supree Khanchatha, 19, and her friend Thanapat Saenkham, 31, both of whom allegedly procured the girl for the sex trade.

Mana said that current evidence didn’t implicate any more accomplices or suggest any state officials were involved.

Preparation is the most important part of a sucessful business structure.
In this case the methods used can somehow be open for debate regarding humanitarian procedures.

Oh, dear, oh dear! They get crazier by the second!

I sincerely hope they are all locked up and get a taste of their own medicine while behind bars. Dirty b**t**ds!

How can this girl live a "normal" life after this?

Disgusting filthy perverts,  want castrating the lot of them.

What would Hongthong think if somebody raped his daughter?

Probably ask how much compensation he should be getting sadly Colin

I hope this dirty <deleted> does not get bail too. If you have raped and hospitalised a 14 year old, there is only one place for you to be going.

Iono...the place you probably are referring to costs money to maintain...

So is this restaurant owner the same man as Pa Chor, who has been referred to

as a very influential person is Suphan Buri ,and who the Police seemed very reluctant

to arrest, in fact  he surrenders to the Police, why could they not go and drag his arse

into the cell, when rich and influential people are accused of a crime, there's a lot of

tippy toeing around by the Police, which goes as far as not even arresting them, while

the man on the street is given the bum's rush, police gather around for photo op,the

suspect is forced to do an reenactment, without doubt there are two levels of justice.

You wrongfully accuse the man... the OP alleges that he procured the rape, not commit the deed

Other stories imply/state that he later raped her.

Though this story also states

''Anuchat Hongthong, a 53-year-old widower who is well known in Nong Ya Sai district, turned himself in at 10.30pm to face the charges of raping a minor under 15 and taking the girl away from her guardian/parent for lewd acts last November.''

Which would seem to indicate he did rape her.

Whatever, the man is scum.

All these big news agency seems to forget or fail to mention that it was through the good detective work of a certain facebook page อยากดังเดี๋ยวจัดให้ V.4 yak dang deaw jat hai V.4 that exposed these horrid crimes of those involved when the police refused to take in this case.

The mum even had to hide herself for 4months due to threats from the police till she finally found the facebook page and finally enlisted the help.

Due to overwhelming evidence collected of photos, videos and online chat conversations of the crimes by the Facebook อยากดังเดี๋ยวจัดให้ V.4 yak dang deaw jat hai V.4 page owner,  RTP was finally forced to take action.

Lawyer Songkran just got a free pass in this case.

Now its up to the courts to return justice to the 14 year old victim and her mother.

give credit where credit is due.

The girl was hospitalised for three weeks and they are classifying this as an ALLEGED gang rape? And why has the girl been placed under the care of a state-run shelter for rehabilitation? Where`s her family for God`s sake?  Would not surprise if her family also played a part in trying to lure the girl to be a sex worker.

The whole affair is sick and evil, all involved should be given life sentences.

her mum has been trying to get police in suphanburi to accept her case for 4 months but was threaten to drop it instead because of the pooyai and gang involved.

she has been placed in the shelter because her mental state of health is not good. she needs professional help and 24hr attention becos she would attempt suicide many times.

Please kindly look at the facebook   อยากดังเดี๋ยวจัดให้ V.4 yak dang deaw jat hai V.4 and all other major news site in Thai for details of the case. TV alone is not in depth enough.

agree all should be given life sentences for ruining a bright young girl's future. she was a good girl doing well with good grades in school.

read my above comment.

Like I always say: The victims and or family members suffering the injustices should have the option of 10 minutes alone in the jail cell with the perpetrators(s) and have the satisfaction of some self serving justice.....while a baseball bat is optional and available if asked for.

Cheers

Uhm her family was in on it...the daughter was apparently "procured" from family members. Which at least implies the family let her go and possibly were aware or didnt care about what she was being procured for. So maybe for now she is better off in a shelter until the authorities figure out who is who.
