Complaint center meets with Pattaya communities

PATTAYA:-- Representatives from Pattaya’s 42 neighborhoods got to vent their gripes about infrastructure, traffic and more at a meeting with the city’s complaint center.

Center executive Chaiwat Klisanalom chaired the April 16 meet-up at Pattaya School No. 6 where he provided knowledge and advice on how to solve problems in local communities.

He also noted issues that cannot be solved by the residents themselves. Hot topics included potholes, broken pavement, street lights, flooding, sewage and more.

Also topping the list were public works projects undertaken by private contractors that missed their completion dates or abandoned before completion, leaving a dangerous, traffic-snarling mess in their place.

That must have been a helll of a lengthy meeting. Wouldn't surprise me if it's still going on. Wonder how many promises and vows have been made so far? Guinness, are you keeping track?

How about we call that "I don't give a damn crap about your infrastructure problems, folks" ...... Happy Thailand area.....

They need to publicize these meetings better so that our whingers, bashers, and haters can vent there rather than here on the forum. They'd love all those topics. :)

There's a big difference between not liking something and whinging and obsessing about what you don't like. Now I may have mentioned somewhere, without whinging, the traffic, the parking, and Songkran. I needn't have mentioned 90-day reporting--but that's not nearly as bad as our whingers make it out to be.
