Recently got stop by the bib at 7.15am license check, there were 7 police on hand l had my international license but wasnt wearing a helmet, l was informed l could lose my license for not wearing a helmet,  as it happened 3 thais rode past on the other side of the rode l said to the policeman look they have no helmets, we only doing this side of the rode. <deleted>

Lesson learned - Wear your lid, you may not even have been stopped (as an aside, it may save your life too).

 

And, even in the West, traffic checks usually concentrate on one direction only.

I really can't work out if the OP is making a complaint or just a statement.

 

If you get your ducks in a row then you won't get hassled by the cops...or in other words, follow the rules.

 

The fact that others may get away with breaking the law doesn't give you an excuse if you get caught.
