9 Month Stay In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi all, can you help?

I am going to thailand to train as a scuba instructor with my partner next month, she is 22 and I am 32 and both British. We anticipate that our stay will be 9 months and would like to know what visa we need. We will not be working while in the country as we have enough savings to live off so we would not need a work visa just a visa that will allow is to stay legaly.

Thanks in advance for your advise.

Darren

Apply by mail to the Royal Thai Consulate Hull. Each entry enables a 60 day stay and each time you can extend by another 30 days.

Thanks for the feedback guys, so just to clarify. On the Visa form I need to tick tourist visa, and in the box that says 'number of entries' put '3' and that is all I need to do?

Thanks again for your help and keep up the good work, I didn't have a clue about any of this before I came here and I spent most of yesterday looking at all the info on the site and it has been a great help.
