We had to take our son to get his 6in1 vaccinations last week when he'd become 2 months old.

The doctor also made us aware of another vaccination which was optional.

The vaccination is to protect against IPD and Rota virus.

I asked for some info on it and have some leaflets which I have used to perform research on the Internet.

Can anyone share any experiences or information on this matter?

The optional choice and lack of insistence or direction from the doctor made me wonder about this and as it's all new to us I thought it would be wise to get a clear picture of the benefits.

Hope to hear from anyone with experience or knowledge of this matter.

Thanks
