Mae Hong Son governor Suebsak reinstated as of June 19

 

 

MAE HONG SON: -- Embattled Mae Hong Son Governor Suebsak Iamvijarn who was implicated in a sex scandal and transferred to an inactive post at the Interior Ministry has been reinstated as the governor.

 

Interior permanent secretary Krisda Boonrath on Wednesday issued an urgent order moving Mr Suebsak back to Mae Hong Song to assume his post as the governor to be effective as of June 19.

 

Mr Suebsak was transferred to the operations centre of the Interior Ministry on May 2 after he was accused of patronizing sex trade involving young girls in Mae Hong Son. He, however, denied the accusation and was eventually cleared by a fact-finding committee.

Since when did committees determine somebodies innocence/guilt?

Why have police and prosecutors, if  a committee of his pals can decide?

Attractive young ladies, dress down and be less attractive. Also, no dancing that might excite dirty old men who can't control themselves. That's not fair. 

 

Dirty old men with money and connections, carry on as usual. Just try not to get caught. It embarrasses the PM into silence.

So committees now get to determine if someone if guilty or innocent?   Amazing Thailand, indeed.

 

I guess it had to be this way.  Cannot have real facts getting in the way.
