BANGKOK: -- An air force soldier was arrested yesterday after a high speed chase through the streets of Pathum Thani.

Suphachai Buaroy, 25, had borrowed a friend's Honda Civic, popped a couple of Ya Ba then picked up his girlfriend for a trip out from Bang Bua Thong.

But he went into the back of a Fortuner then a chase began. The Fortuner driver called cops and everyone was now after the soldier.

He smashed into the back of a red Nissan then sideswiped a minivan plying the Pin Klao to Bang Bua Thong route.

He was finally arrested as police set up a roadblock in front of the Kasikorn Bank, Bang Deua branch, on the Pathum Thani - Nonthaburi Road.

Police reported extensive damage to all four vehicles.

500 baht slap on the wrist.  He displays all the attributes for rapid advancement through the officer ranks.

While high on yaba, he imagined piloting a plane?

No worries, it was his friends car.

Lumyai Hai Thongkam, an 18-year-old luk thung singer was declared to be inconsistent with Thai values, just because she made 9 pelvic thrusts during her performance.

So, popping a couple af Ya Ba is OK!  Am I missing something here!

Time for all uniformed organisations to carry out frequent surprised urine tests on their members to weed out drug addicts...

Why not give him 30-40 pills more. Problem solved. Money saved!

The safest country in the world as the expats claim then, wonderful place to live with many not nutters driving around

Luftwaffe and Nippon airforces in WW2 also...

It's a military tradition. During WW2 the German army as well as Hitler himself were enthusiastic users of crystal meth.
