December 29, 200619 yr I would like, if possible, if someone can give me some advice/ experience on obtaining legal custody of my son(luk krueng). Unfortunately, I am still legally married to his mother, Thai national. However, I have never seen or heard from her in over a year now. She disappeared.

I have legal custody of my son (luk kreung) it is a relatively simple though costly exercise but a lawyer is essential. By all means PM me if you need further details.

Go talk to someone at your local Amphur office first....If the mother has abandoned the child and cannot be located the Amphur or the court can then issue a notice giving you sole custody rights over the child.
