A post with a royal reference has been removed.   Here's the rule and we do take it very seriously:

1) You will not express disrespect of the King of Thailand or any one member of the Thai royal family, whether living or deceased, nor to criticize the monarchy as an institution.

By law, the Thai Royal Family are above politics. Speculation, comments and discussion of either a political or personal nature are not allowed when discussing HM The King or the Royal family.

To breach these rules may result in immediate ban.

Linking to external sites which break these rules will be treated as if you yourself posted them.

Can't dare to name these maybe important people, and if they are related to someone powerful,

don't you know that there would be loss of face in that situation.  After all Thailand is a country

with very good politicians that live both inside and outside of the country.

Geezer

All of these old Thai guys are into underage girls. Not sure why any of this surprises anyone. It's deeply ingrained into their culture going all the way back to early kings.

Same can be said of many cultures world wide, both underage girls and underage boys, look at Afghanistan, still happens openly, but that doesn't make it OK!

Please, legalize prostitution and use your forces to battle underage prostitution with even more severe punishments.

nice thought but the cops make more money from keeping it illegal. big payday for them catching politicians. they have plenty of money and dont want their names smeared by something like this.

I'm sure there is a perfectly good explanation and its just a little misundertanding.  They will be cleared just like the Governor recently.

Exactly, why do you think the 3 politicians have remained anonymous ?

Just waiting for the usual mis-understanding to be cleared up then return back home & business as usual...

why not name & shame the guilty.

So the only person to be named in this scandal is the resort caretaker,

while the 3 mystery politicians, have their names withheld, looks like

once again only the small fish will be taking all the blame.

You're probably right!  The other 20% will be the scapegoats; must have a back-up plan.

Being going on in Thailand for decades,  it is part of their culture.  Another example of Thainess rightly or wrongly.

Turning a blind eye is usually the case but obviously the pimp this time,  or his employer, did not cover the BIBs / Army eyes with enough 1000 baht notes to induce the blind eye syndrome.

Rubbish,it is not part of the culture.Just an excuse for sick old men.

The sad side of life in Thailand.

Very naive to think this is just a Thai problem!
