Have new passport, does the 90 day report remain the same?

Featured Replies

Took my new (and old) passports in to immigration to get the stamps transferred over, have to pick up today. My question is do I still report for my 90 days as per the slip they put in my old passport, or do I need to let them know immediately and start a new 90 day report? Same with my retirement extension which isn't due until end of July, do I need to do that early?

Nothing changes because you got a new passport.

The 90 day report and extension dates will remain the same.

Edit: When you do your extension you will not need copies of the stamps in your new passport. There will be a stamp that has info about your old passport and the visa you used to get the entry you have been extending. That page will replace the copy of your visa you did before.

Thanks for that.
