Walking Street Guard vs Pattaya police - online drama ends in a wai and some apologies

PATTAYA: -- A online drama has ended in a wai and a handshake after threats were made in a "misunderstanding" at Pattaya police station.

 

A fight nearly broke out when Walking Street guard Sutham Wirotrat, 35, went to report an assault at the police station.

 

A video of the incident was posted online.

 

He thought that Sergeant Attarot Khrongrat was ignoring him and both sides squared up to each other with threats of a fist fight.

 

Attarot said that he had had a busy day and seeing that the guard was drunk he had told him to sit down first.

 

Sutham wai-ed the cop and it was decided that no further action was necessary.

Pattaya policeman had a 'busy day'!  I expect collecting all those bribes is wearisome.

Of course the security guard thought the police were ignoring him.

He walked into the police station empty handed.

Surely how should know if you want them to do anything, you must have your brown envelope ready.

Why  is the reference to a 'brown' envelope.  The ones I use are usually white.

Security guards at walking street that are drunk should be sacked on the spot.This drunk guard should be sacked and fined 5000 bht for insulting and  treatening a police officer at the police station.
