June 27, 20178 yr 2 minutes ago, webfact said: ".....misappropriation of the 13 million baht state subsidy..." Thailand the hub of misappropriation. In this particular case they should also be probing the Office of the National Buddhism. 4 minutes ago, webfact said: According to the abbot’s disclosure, Mr Somsak said the temple did not request any subsidy from the Office of the National Buddhism. If this is true then it is very strange if someone provided funds that were not requested and then those funds mysteriously disappeared. Shouldn't be too hard to find out the truth. Just follow the money trail.
June 27, 20178 yr The caption of this part is misleading, as it is the abbot (as an individual person) denying any involvement, but I didn't see a denial about the temple (an organisation) he leads, possibly(!), 'misappropriating state subsidy', quite a difference IMO...
June 27, 20178 yr I'm sure the CCD have bigger fish to fry. The authorities seem to be going after anything that ordinary Thai's relate to
June 28, 20178 yr Mr Somsak saidthet didnt request any subsidy. So because they didnt request any subsidy, it is ok to misappropriate it., laughable absolutely laughable.
