Pattaya to BKK by Bike -- Options?

Featured Replies

Planning to go to BKK next week on my CTX. Can anyone tell me what my route options are now? Is Sukumvit (Soi 3) my only choice out of Pattaya; is Route 7 now prohibited for bikes all the way? Google shows 7 still available if you choose "avoid tolls" to Chonburi and Route 34 from Chonburi to BKK. But, if you select "avoid highways", it gives Soi 3 and Route 34 as the suggested route. Route 331 is an option I have used before, and while it is a nice ride, it is too far out of the way, I think. Thanks for any suggestions -- I really wouldn't like to take Sukumvit all the way to Chonburi, especially through Sriratcha.
