Man I really 'rooted' her out...

As an American, I find the Aussies charming.  They're an awful lot like us with an accent and a perpetual drunkness about them.  The fact that their football is the grown up version of ours helps also.  All that I've meet have been good people.

Much prefer them over the UK'ians because, as previously mentioned, they seem to stain inebriated rather than binge drink and become <deleted>.

I think this post is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

I think it is only appropriate that all people who think bad things about us Aussies should go to his link and listen to the words of wisdom,  it really apply to Aussies (only)

Obviously just like in the States there are some Aussies who have reading comprehension issues and don't know when a compliment is being paid.

The Australian tourist.. like the wombat...he eats, roots and leaves...

I believe the full description for wombats is: Eats, roots, shoots and leaves.

I can spot an Aussie by the pool wearing 'Budgie smugglers ' whatever his age.

Luck you, I have some Australian friends here in Thailand and never have I seen any of the wearing "Budgie Smugglers" as this type of beach wear is preferred by Eastern Europeans and their close relatives the Russians and also some men of middle eastern origin appear to like wearing them as well
All said and done not a pretty sight what ever the nationality of the wearer

You forgot the Italians, they love em, tighter the better, Budgie Suffocaters

If they make it worthwhile to spend more then people will spend more.

They have been focussing to much on the numbers the last years, but revenue was not inline with the increasing numbers of arrivals, but costs were increasing inline with arrivals.
