webfact
"Millionairess" found bound and murdered by "Dressed to Kill" intruder Picture: Sanook SURAT THANI: -- A rich Thai woman involved in the loan business was found murdered in her home in Makham Tia sub district of Surat Thani last night. Jantha or "Jae Ngor", 66, had been strangled by brown tape wrapped three times around her neck. She was also wrapped in a white and red cloth. Her hands were tied to her feet behind her back with pink and red cloth. There was a wound to the area below her chin. The body was found face down in the hall next to a TV stand. The woman was found by her son who had arrived with twins from school who she was due to look after that evening. Apichart Bunsirot of the central Surat Thani police said that CCTV had caught a person who looked like a woman entering the three story business premises. The person was wearing a peaked cap, lady's wig, long dress and a surgical mask. Although it was not stated in the Sanook article the inference was that the attacker was a man dressed as a woman like in the Hollywood movie "Dressed to Kill". Relatives looked over the house to see what was missing but as the victim was involved in loaning money that is a focus of the investigation. Police told Sanook that they have a good idea who might be responsible. The Thai news media referred to the victim as a "millionairess". It is often the police who finance the money lending getting very lucrative returns so why on earth would they want to stop it?
