A young Laotian man who had just come to work in Chantaburi was found dead in bed still attached to his earphones.

He was using the headphones attached to a tablet that was further hooked up to an old wire wrapped in tape leading to a wall socket.

He had died after a short circuit.

Police and medics attended the scene at Kor. Kor Sang (Plap Pla) Co Ltd in Muang district of Chantaburi. The victim - 22 year old Sukkanya Phrommasai - was staying in the company accommodation.

His sister said he only arrived to work in Thailand with her last week.

Police said the haphazard nature of the connection to the wall socket led to the man's death.

He had been dead for twelve hours when he was found yesterday.

That must have been some electrifying music!

Er... sorry

and last week that report of the girl in the bathtub with her Iphone, give or take a few connections

People, being "drugged" to smartphones tend to forget or ignore any self-preservation.

Was there electrical burn on his ears? If not probably he died while sleeping.
