HM the King instructs Lt. Gen. Thitathan Suksri to deliver royally-bestowed survival bags and consumer goods to flood victims in Sukhothai

BANGKOK, 31 July 2017 (NNT) – His Majesty the King has instructed Lt. Gen. Thitathan Suksri to distribute royally-bestowed survival bags and consumables to flood victims in Sukhothai. 

His Majesty the King is concerned about flood victims in Sukhothai and has instructed Lt. Gen. Thitathan Suksri and Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the royal patronage to deliver royally-bestowed survival bags and consumanles to flood victims in Sukhothai at Udom Darunee school, Muang Sukhothai district. The flood victims are immeasurably grateful for the benevolence of His Majesty the King. 

The tropical storm "Talus" has caused heavy rainfall in various areas of Sukhothai since 26 July 2017. There are 200 households in Pak Khwae subdistrict and 1,800 households in Muang Sukhothai municipality that have been affected by the floods. 

The royally-bestowed survival bags and consumables were delivered to 2,000 flood-affected households.

SEOUL/NEW YORK (Reuters) - The United States flew two supersonic B-1B bombers over the Korean peninsula in a show of force on Sunday and the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said China, Japan and South Korea needed to do more after Pyongyang's latest missile tests.
