Can some one explain to me how to get to the main topic and not to the

bottom of the first page or the last page I like to click a topic and be

able to read what it is all about and not have to read a whole page

and work my way back to the top so what I am doing wrong ?

If you click on a Topic Title, it should take you to the first post (or to the top of the page indicated).

 

If you click on the Topic poster name indicated on the right, it takes you to 'that' recent post of the named topic thread. 

The links you see on the extreme right or bottom of the page (mixed with the ad space) are also to recent posts within a topic thread. If you click on one of these you'll need to navigate manually to the first post (if that's where you want to start).
