PATTAYA: -- Police have not ruled out murder in the case of a 23 year old Korean man who fell to his death at 2.30am this morning at View Talay 5 Condominium in Jomtien. The victim was staying in Room 634 on the 15th floor.

Mr Jamin Lee was found dead by a security guard after he heard a loud noise.

The victim had fallen on a Honda Jazz in the car park.

The victim had multiple limb breaks and was lying in a pool of blood next to the car.

The car's roof was dented and the back window was smashed. The victims shoes were found near the body and were taken into evidence by police at the scene.

A lot of bystanders had arrived to look at the scene and a white screen was erected, reported Siamchon News.

Cops must have a new crime solving guide book. First time I have ever heard Pattaya cops use the word murder for someone who fell/jumped/was pushed off a tall building. The old guide book only had suicide as the obvious cause. Progress comes, even to Thailand.

No new guide book.

They obviously read Thaivisa on a more regular basis, and are starting to take notice of the numerous, expert TV sleuths !

That seems ridiculous to talk about "murder" in this case where the guy is seen on CCTV walking *alone* from his room to the roof, and then is found ground floor a few seconds later.

Why not talk of suicide when clearly it's a suicide ?!

Why have cops if they're always confused?

The sad and telling fact about the comments posted regarding this story , which I for one have come to expect, and am seldom dissapointed, is the certain fact that these posters have become totally desensitised to the tragic death of a fellow human being. This person was the son of a mother and father, may have had brothers and sisters left behind and loved ones. Has all compassion left their beings (if it was ever thwre to begin with) and been replaced with cynical contempt and a  lack of decency.

RIP dear fellow traveller and condolences to all your family and loved ones.

Dont forget that a lot of hotels have very low rails on the balconies. A lot of people have fallen over them in the past, being drunk makes it easier

Actually the balcony railings are quite high on the newer View Talay buildings- but in this case the poor guy went to the roof. Why a reference to hotels ? It's a condo block.

23 is far far too young. He had his whole life in front of him- it's very sad.

That is quite true not to mention rails that are not attatched very well or in some older buildings where they have started to rust out .. The really troubling question is the numbers of people falling ( jumping ) off buildings here and not just off the top or balconies as the guy who did the same off the top floor inside Centrale last December demonstrated .. Is it something in the air here .? Whatever the reason its not gonna do much to improve the reputation of the place as the UK tabloids always run with these stories the most recent being June .. And T A T as we know don't like bad publicity especially the red-tops brand of publicity ..  T'was the Sun's Sodom & Gomorrah headline easier this year that prompted T A T's Madam spokeswoman to declare " there are no prostitutes in Pattaya " and " people come for its sporting activities "  alongside  " they ( the papers ) are lying " ( bit rich that one coming from her )  Whatever the cause of this latest tragedy its hard not to think it won't be the last ..

How could they come to the conclusion this could be a murder , just by looking at the body ? It could be a suicide, it could be a murder, it could be an accident. Ask the police and they just pick one theory and hope for the best.

It could be murder, it could be death. RIP and may the truth be known. There is other evidence that the police have not made known to reporters. So dont stress on the reporters story. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.

With respect how long you been in Patt' .? Not a huge amount of time I suggest particularly when it comes to the last sentence ..

Check the CCTV for LBs

They checked the CCTV already, and saw him going *alone* from his room to the roof.

I really don't understand why some guys here want this case to be a murder ??

Yes, but they didn't actually say it was murder - just that they haven't ruled it out!

Second time in a few days where they have kept their options open!

Oh, it's definitely death, and I wouldn't be taking bets on your final sentence!
