Restricted land entries also for visa holders?

Featured Replies

See this post,

Unfortunately it is correct.

Only people with a valid Re-Entry permit can use the land borders unrestricted.

Others with a VOA or multiple Non-O visa are restricted to 2 land border crossings a calendar year.

made in this thread,

I believe the information as provided by Phuket immigration via an Immigration volunteer to be incorrect, but can somebody in the know confirm or deny please?

I just replied to that nonsense posted.

He does not even know the difference between a visa exempt entry and a visa on arrival.

Here is the ministerial order for the rule. Visa Exempt Rules Dec 2016.pdf

Thanks U-Joe... it is shit with all these stupid romours spreading by peoply knowing nothing at all. But good at the very same time that somebody is question them..

Glegolo

If it were true, TV would have been inundated with this news from the thousands of expats on Non Imm O ME Visas, who frequently exit and re-enter the same day at land border crossings every 90 days.

Immigration can't confine a multi entry Visa to two entries.

This months oh my god lets all panic post LOL.
