If you have bad internet it's the only way! Not every where you have good Internet! Torrent it arrives when it does. Buffering all the time is no fun to watch TV

???????? Edit: What the rough guide actually doesn't take into consideration (and not mention) is the direction, which Crossy wisely says "roughly South"

To calculate the Solar Panel tilt Angle of your Solar Panels use one of the above calculators @Crossy linked to or use this rough guide Use the latitude of your location and multiply by 0,87 For example BKK 13.7563° N, 100.5018° E. 13.7563 * 0.87 = 11,96° = 12° If the latitude value is between 25 and 50, it is multiplied by 0.87 and added 3.1 degrees to the result. The ideal angle can be obtained at approximately 45 degrees if the latitude value is 50 degrees and above. https://lightingequipmentsales.com/how-to-calculate-solar-panel-tilt-angle.html

Another thing to try is to try, ever so gently, to clean the slot in your pc where you put in the LAN cable. Maybe it has gotten dirty inside over time?

8THB per unit is definitely more expensive compared to if you pay directly to PEA / MEA which is (depending on how many units you use) between 4 and 5 THB (incl VAT). The question of course is HOW old is the Airconditioner? And is it an Inverter? In comparison, we changed the Aircon in our Condo to a brand new Inverter type and electricity bills went down over 50% with approx the same usage.

I recently asked the same question And I bought this one. Very happy with it https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2473860264-s8697619538.html

Solar power, can it be done DIY?
MJCM replied to Sophon's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Personally, I would recommend buy the panels at Global, yes you save some money buying from Lazada, but if one fails (oke their return policy seems to be oke) but is still a hassle. For the couple of THB you save, IMHO it's not worth it. So I am buying mine at a known Retail Store with a good return policy! -

Fixed bank deposit pattaya
MJCM replied to roobaa01's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I asked them about that and they said it will take a couple of hours for it to update (I am Confused about that as transferring money over with Internet Banking immediately updates the balance on the FD as well, but so be it). So what I do, on the day of going to the Bank and Immigration, early morning transfer money into the FD, go to the bank (opens at 10:30) have them make the bank letter and update the bank book, and then at 13:00 go to immigration. -

https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Save-And-Invest/Save/Fixed-Deposit-Account After you deposit, the date it matures is then the following year. If I get home I will upload a picture of the Fixed Deposit I have at BBL, I have been doing this for as many years I was on Extension based on marriage -
Don't get the Cows in, just the farmers ???? In our old village I asked the neighbour to put his cows in our Garden to eat the grass and my wife said "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and when I asked why she said "Cow Pats". So I had the neighbour cut the grass and feed it to his cows instead
-
Ask the farmers (who have cows) in your area to do it for you. Just say to them, you cut the grass and you keep the grass, They will be happy to do it, because in this period it's a struggle for some to find grass for their cows. Ps: This Will not work of course if you want a nice "manicured Lawn"

Bank Statement is AFAIK a Bank Letter (Just tell the Bank, letter for Immigration) Re: Update. What I did was on the day I went to Immigration, I transferred Money (1000 THB orso) into the Fixed Account via Online Banking. Then went into the Bank got the letter and they updated the Bank Book which had the updated balance of that day This was with Bangkok Bank, but YMMV -
Agreed, but the issue with a brand like that is where to get it repaired when something goes bad. For example: I just couldn't say to my BIL, sorry to get your Brush Cutter repaired you have to send it to BKK to get it repaired and you will get it back in 1 week. He needs it every day (when the season is there) and thus they go for a machine with Spare Parts readily available. He had a copy of the Honda before he got the "real deal" Honda, and as soon as he started using the Honda, he said 2 things - Wow quiet - Doesn't use a lot of petrol

In our OLD village, the main box for the internet was in the Village "conference centre" so I had a UPS connected to our Modem/Internet, I still wouldn't have internet when the power went down because the Main Box wasn't on a UPS
-
Of course, but in my case for example the Router is 15 meters away from my PC, so I thought (as I have no idea about the OP's situation) to suggest 2. And another reason is, if you use 2 separate UPS (1 for PC and for 1 Modem) the PC one will get drained quickly (more Wattage) and after the PC ups shutdown you can still use your Phone / Tablet to connect to the Wifi of your Internet as the Router / Modem don't use that much Wattage so they don't drain the UPS that quickly
-
Internet/Modem doesn't take that much power anyway, so you could do with the one (i suggested above) for the PC only and you connect both of them. You could use an extension lead connected to the UPS and then connect the Internet/Laptop to that extension lead. And as a Laptop has a Battery anyway ???? Please note: A Ups like that won't last hours and hours (so for your power outage lasting from 11pm-5pm a Ups like that won't help you) maybe if loads are connected 30mins-45mins max?
