Not on a side of the Hill! Just a straight road alongside rice fields. The road in question doesn't look as bad as the one in the OP but it is absolutely full of potholes. No pleasure to drive on it! Villagers can't wait till the end of rainy season, because then one of these road graders will come and make the road oke again (till the start of the rainy season that is) Funny story about that road. It connects 2 villages together, they got the money to start building a concrete road (total of 4(ish) km long) So they started to build the road at the other village, because that is closer to the main route to the "bigger" city where the concrete has to come from. Oke end of story, money completely gone and only approx half of the road road finished and that is now 3-4 years ago. TiT -
Forgot to add something 4- "Hybrid but without grid feed-in" or be able to set No-Export.

And you think that will stay? After a couple of rain storms it will be all washed away! How I know, in our OLD village there is 2km of the same kind of road which is the major road out of there (now) because the other road is flooded. A couple of months all (most) off the villagers chipped in and put gravel on the whole stretch (and used their tractors to level it etc etc), a couple of weeks later it was ALL gone (washed away) -

@giddyup Look at the TT (Telex Transfer rate) on the SCB website. Look here https://www.scb.co.th/en/personal-banking/foreign-exchange-rates.html Under "Bank Buys and then TT" (Edit: The rate changes every day, but your incoming transfer will be settled at the first rate of the day (look at Time Round)) But do please note, also the SCB will charge with a max of 500 THB per incoming transfer

I am using Virtual CC Cards whenever I need to buy something online. After I have paid for something the card gets "Frozen", which means it can't be used to pay for anything, BUT it still can receive re-funds in case the order fails. After the stuff I have ordered has been delivered, I delete the Card ^ rinse and repeat for any subsequent orders! Ps: Phone can only be accessed with a 6 digit PIN or Face-ID!. banking apps as well (but different 6 digit PIN)

I would think if Route #7 was having flooding issues I think many members would have already commented (or it would have been in the news) Or are you more worried about the route Nonthaburi to #7? If so, maybe ask a Moderator to move this thread to the BKK forum via the Report Button

Do you ever think about the family that left you behind
MJCM replied to steven100's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub

+1 They couldn't even care less about me and if they did it would only cause problems! ???? -
You are absolutely right about this. This morning coming back from our weekly shopping run, it was raining this heavily that even at 60kmh the car was almost aquaplaning, but I got passed by ???? who were doing 80+. When these ???? get into an accident they blame it on "it was raining" Unfortunately they will never learn (only when it is too late)

RIP But this is a common occurrence on Thai Roads. Some Guy on a Motobike almost hit us yesterday when I was parked on the uttermost left side of the road where it was allowed to park. I was waiting in the car and saw this guy coming up from behind and he was all the time looking to the left and to the right and he was looking for longer periods of time. When he neared our car he was on the path to hit us right in the middle of the back of the car. If I hadn't honked the horn he would have, fortunately he looked up and went straight back on to the road, where also fortunately for him no other traffic was coming. After he passed us, he kept going on with the same routine ????

You are quite right, those individual ones are NOT cheap, I think I paid (2 years ago) over 1000 THB each https://www.lazada.co.th/products/rcbo-1-pole-10a-50a-30ma-schneider-circuit-breaker-earth-leakage-rcbo-schneider-earth-leakage-circuit-breaker-i2345807881-s7919449768.html?

With ALL the troubles that it brings. Because when that one trips the whole house is in Darkness and not with individual RCBO's the circuit that has an issue only This setup (front-end RCBO which we have in our old house) has caused us to travel late at night to our OLD house because they couldn't understand how to reset it (Push up) ???? (Fortunately the old house is only 20+kms away! This is our OLD house setup
-
What is the reason for this? We passed the inspection and our Incomer is a regular MCB with RCBO's on the "risky" circuits as you can see in post #3
